FIRST ALLOCATION :
2021 World Paragliding XC: First Allocation Finalised
The first allocation of the 2021 World Paragliding XC Championships was finalised on February 24th. 270 pilots from 52 nations participated. Twelve exemption requests were received. Only one was granted in consideration of the “exceptionnal circumstances” rule: the concerned pilot was missing 0,1 point in the 40-points requirement.
One defending champion and one top-5 woman were granted a wild card, as allowed. Spots for Women, then Overall were allocated in the order of the nations’ WPRS (suspended nations were ranked last).
The Championship will be confirmed or postponed to 2023 on March 15th. If confirmed, payments of entry fees will start on March 16th and end on March 22nd. The second allocation will then take place.

SECOND ALLOCATION :
If needed, the 2nd round will be made on March 22nd and its results published the same day.
Confirmation of payment must be sent to the organisers by e-mail before March 30th. Applications with fees paid, but not received or confirmed by the deadline will be refused.
After the payment deadline, the allocation table will be updated and any unpaid spot reallocated.
Between March 30th and the beginning of the competition, if any spot opens up because of a cancellation or for any reason, that spot will be reallocated.
