The March 15th deadline
The organisers of the championship are doing everything they can for the event to be safe, fair and satisfying. Nevertheless, the unpredictable reality of the pandemic must be taken into consideration. The CIVL Bureau, together with the organisers, the CIVL Delegates and the PG Committee, will define the minimum number of nations required for the championship to be considered meaningful. This will be taken into consideration when deciding if the event is held or postponed. The organisers, together with the CIVL Bureau, will monitor the pandemic situation and will decide to hold the event or postpone it to 2023 no later than March 15th. Pre-registrations will open as planned on January 15th. Pilots will have the possibility to train and fly in a safe environment just before the championship from May 19th to May 21st. The training days program and conditions are described in the local regulations. The local regulations can be found here: http://vollibre.tourisme.coeurdesavoie.fr/wp- content/uploads/sites/3/2020/12/20201124-local-rules-pwc-2021-chamoux.pdf The headquarters will be set in a rural area. Accommodation and catering are not within walking distances. Teams will probably need their own transportation to move around freely. The organisers will assist you with renting cars as needed. More information on transportation, catering and accommodation will be published on this website ASAP. Kirsteen Cleak will help you and answer your questions on these subjects.
